One of the most fascinating and historic districts of Rome is the Prati district. Within Prati are in fact both St. Peter's Basilica and Castel Sant'Angelo, as well as many stores of all kinds, where you can find the best designer shops. The apartments that we have selected in the list below are right next to the St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums.
If you don't want to walk to get to all the attractions that a huge city like Rome can offer you, don't worry, because just a few steps from the apartment located near the Vatican Museums in this section you will find numerous public transport connections and taxis, and, above all, the area in which they are located is literally full of underground stations that will make you get anywhere in a few minutes.
If you choose to move around the city by subway, on the same day you can visit a beautiful park like Villa Ada, located in the north-east of Rome and then see the ancient Appian Way catacombs in the southern part of the city, after which, if not you're not too tired, you can take the "tour of the seven churches". These seven churches are the most important basilicas of the Catholic religion: San Giovanni in Laterano ( Rome's cathedral), St. Peter, San Paolo Fuori le Mura(outside the walls), Santa Maria Maggiore (these four are the "papal basilicas" and each of them has a Holy Door that opens only for the Jubilee), San Lorenzo Fuori le Mura, Santa Croce in Gerusalemme and San Sebastiano Fuori le Mura.
